Sam Allberry (author of “Is God Anti-Gay?”) and Jeanette Howard (author of “Dwelling in the Land”) will also be participating in a Q&A panel. In addition, we’re planning to include some interviews, book reviews and video testimonies.
Why? To equip and encourage Christians facing same-sex temptations to seek satisfaction in and through our relationship with Jesus Christ, who promises that whoever comes to him will never go hungry and whoever believes in him will never be thirsty (John 6:35). And to encourage and inspire the wider church to stick to authentically biblical teaching and to provide good pastoral care for those who experience same-sex temptations.
When? Saturday 11 June 2016. Doors open at 9.30am for refreshments. Event starts at 10am and finishes at 5pm.
Where? St Michael’s Church, Chester Square, London, SW1W 9EF
Who for? Christians who experience same-sex temptations along with friends, family, church leaders and youth workers. And for anyone who wants to gain understanding and hear stories from those personally impacted.
